16th Street Seafood

Called ahead and placed an order around 6:30pm on a Sunday. Was told 45 min and they would text when our food is ready. It was a bit less than that, but liked that they text you. Only thing I didn’t really like were the fries. They were very hard. All the seafood was great & I have lived In Maryland & know a good crabcake. On a scale of 1-10, this one was an 8. Not tons of filler and you can see lumps of crab. So the seafood is why we ordered from here, not really to get fries. The platters also come with the sauces you need. Overall, solid 4. If you don’t wanna cook, try this place.

Very expensive for what you get. Overall based on our order: 1) king crab. $91 for 1.5lb. Don't think it was a pound and a half from weighing in hand, see photo. It was decent, slightly overcooked and mealy. $65-70 more realistic price. 2) "super" lump crab. This is kinda a joke. It's not even jumbo lump. More like blue crab and filler. It was good though. 3) lobster tail. Waaay overcooked. Very tough. 4) no way to cut the king crab. Thank goodness I had a knife on me. They don't sell or give scissors and they are not pre-cut. FYI if staying at hotel... 5) $18 for clam strips. Maybe a 1/3lb? Was expecting double the size based on other restaurant portions. Definitely will not order again here. Food was ok, not many places to get king crab and kids really wanted to try it..

Our group was so happy with our dinners we ordered! We had only great comments about the food. It was easy to order & was done quickly, and was just a few minutes from our hotel. Now that we have tried it we will definitely be ordering every time we visit OC. The tuna steak was cooked perfectly, everything was delicious!

The BEST SEAFOOD RESTAURANT around! The staff is great and attentive. A take away place that has the perfect concept for seafood dining. Trays and platters are a must for any party or gathering! U Peel em’ Shrimp with Old Bay, Steamed Clams, Crab Cakes and more! Definitely check this place out if you’re in town. A fabulous experience! The staff is friendly, attentive and knowledgeable! I can’t wait for next summer!!

Order from here twice in 2 days last weekend and can't say enough about the place. Both times I grabbed 1 1/2 lb Snow Crab leg platters and a dozen blue claws. Blue claws were big for this time of year and the snow crab were fantastic. I would have ordered again on Sunday if I didn't leave early. Staff was great, very friendly and hardly a wait and I made some large orders. I miss the food already. I'll be there every time I'm in Ocean City
