1898 Red Bud Bed & Breakfast

One of the best B&B's we have ever stayed in! 👍 Susanna and her husband are such very pleasant and helpful hosts. The breakfast food was delicious and you will want her recipes! Highly recommend this Inn!!

1898 Red Bud is a wonderful place to stay. The breakfast was delicious and Suzann was so sweet and accommodating. The location is close to Lexington, yet you enjoy the quaint, quiet small town. This is an wonderful place to stay and very reasonably priced.

Spent 4 nights December 2025. Throughly enjoyed all that it is (atmosphere, breakfast and value). Susan is a great hostess and cook/chef. The location is very convenient to Nicholasville, Lexington and Harrodsburg. Will go back again soon.|Pappy & Mimi

Having never stayed at a B&B, we were somewhat apprehensive but this was so close to our son's new home we decided to book a 3-night stay. We're so happy we did! The entire experience was sensational. Suzann was welcoming, accommodating, and gave us some excellent advice on local attractions and restaurants. The location is sensational and easy to get to and the setting was perfect, especially the generous front porch we sat at every night. Everything was fantastic, but the gourmet breakfasts were beyond description. Every morning Suzann prepared a different homemade meal for us that was 5 star. You'll never want to stay at a Holiday Inn Express ever again. The next time we visit our son and daughter-in-law, we know where we'll be staying!

The 1898 Red Bud Bed & Breakfast is a beautiful home, lovingly restored. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was clean. But what sets this B&B apart is Suzann! Suzann is an amazing host and fabulous cook! Her listing said "gourmet breakfast" and it was not wrong. Every morning Suzann presented us with a lovely, gourmet breakfast on the veranda. The food was amazing and Suzann is generous with her time - spending time with us each morning to help us plan our day and recommending local attractions. Highly recommend!
