The service is wonderful, have yet to have a server that wasn't always available. I have made it through 12 dinners in about three weeks. Not a single meal has been a disappointing. Between the soup and salsa, to the weekly and daily specials. Would recommend if you are in the area or staying at the hotel.

If I was the chef I’d be mad. Great food. Service is just not interested in making anyone’s experience enjoyable. I’m specifically talking about the host staff, not the waitstaff. Decent overall but a friendly face at the door goes a long way.

I'm writing this review on behalf of a group of ladies who held their holiday luncheon at 1951 on Dec. 3rd. Their server was Todor. The remarks I heard when they talked about their experience with him include, "pleasant, efficient, kind, funny, & well-mannered". They also appreciated his willingness to take their group photo. Thank you, Todor, for making this annual event so memorable for them. I understand they've already requested you for next year! :)

While the restaurant serves excellent tasting food, it is the bar on the north end of the restaurant that we found amazing. It was the highlight of our experience (other than the actual wedding we attended). The selection of fine liquors was outstanding, as was the expertise of our bartender. Great ambiance! Note that the food at the restaurant, which is excellent, is not the same food you are likely to get at the wedding venue buffet (which was merely good).

Food was really good. My girlfriend and I went for out anniversary and it made a really good anniversary dinner. The staff were all really nice and the restraunt was very clean. The tomato soup was amazing I would highly recommend. Definitely on the pricier end but it is very good food so it is worth it. Definitely worth a stop for a special occasion.
