Customer Reviews
Was in the neighborhood at about 3 pm and decided to stop by. Clean little place. Person behind the counter was friendly and courteous. Ordered a glazed buttermilk bar, a coffee, and a blended latte all to go. Doughnut was okay, pretty dry, but maybe it had been made that morning. Not overly greasy or anything. Coffee was ice cold, though. When I let the guy know, he seemed surprised but kindly dumped out the old stuff and brewed a fresh pot, which was great. Latte was fine, nothing out of the ordinary.
Stopped in for a nostalgic donut, my pops is always inviting me here but im at church Sundays. Rode my bike and instead of my new fave Starbucks patio I stopped for what I figured would be bottomless coffee. I spent a couple bucks on a donut then spent some more on a 5oz cup of coffee although I ordered it all at the same time, he made me cash out 2 separate transactions. I ate my donut match fpr match with my one cup of coffee and had 3 bites of donut left and no sips. I rang the bell at the counter, he took forever (3min) to come to front from the back which was unlit, with a food glove on. He grasped my coffee cup at the lip as I asked for a refill. I then asked for a fresh cup. Sat on the bench the broke the first time i sat down, gladly wothout hot coffee in hand. I then cleaned my s
I sadly have to agree with other reviews that there is something wrong with the dough. Most donuts should be light and fluffy and these are dense, not in a good way, and taste off. We tossed $20 worth of donuts as they were inedible. Service is quick, the owner Nick is nice, and maybe their other offerings are better but I'd skip the donuts. Others also mentioned how small the donuts are now and some are comically so. Disappointing as we used to love this place back in the day.
I made a special trip to this place, because the resort where we’re staying had donuts from here for an event and they were so, so delicious. (I am not usually a fan at all.) The two I got this afternoon were not good; I threw mine away after a couple of bites. My husband ate his, but was not a fan. At least the experience will save us calories!
Used to love to go there but their donuts have gotten very small and their price has gotten very high! Had an apple burrito thing that was delish but not very generous with filling and they cost 3 BUCKS! Not much bang for you $$. 😕 DONUTS ARE ONE OF THE HIGHEST PROFITS IN THE FOOD INDUSTRY. YOU CAN KEEP YOUR $3 TINY DONUTS!! I'LL GO ELSEWHERE.
