29th Parallel Coffee

We visited 29th Parallel Coffee today and tried the hot latte with rose syrup. The syrup itself was non-sweet, which was fine, but unfortunately the coffee was disappointing — it wasn’t even served hot. The vibe inside the café was nice and cozy, and we did enjoy that autumn season feeling as we sipped our drinks. However, the coffee itself just didn’t meet expectations, and because of that, we’ll probably not be returning here.

A friend recommended this place for making one of the best coffee in the area, and I have to agree. I was a bit skeptical at first because they’re pretty empty on a Saturday afternoon, but the coffee is really good quality. I also like that they use lighter roasted beans for the espresso, which is really rare for shops.

I recently searched for a new coffee shop in the area and came across this one. After reading some reviews, my curiosity was piqued, and I decided to try it. The spacious coffee shop offers coffee and other drinks, light fares, and pastries. I found the caffe latte I ordered to be okay, with a hint of acidity, but it could have done better in taste and quality. The cookie I tried was also decent but somewhat crumbly. The coffee shop has plenty of seating, providing an excellent atmosphere to relax and unwind while enjoying coffee.

I’m just loving the whole chill vibe here, a laid back atmosphere, clean lines, it speaks to my minimalistic mind. This place is all about brewing a perfect cup of coffee whether you want espresso, a latte, a pour-over, or just a brewed cup of coffee. They pay attention to details like the pressure applied to beans and the temperature of the water they use to express the coffee. This isn’t char-bucks, this is a coffee lovers paradise. The menu is minimal too, attention again to the coffee and the process; when you come here, don’t expect a bunch of trendy syrupy drinks. Come here if you appreciate coffee. It’s soon darn good.

Love this place! It’s super chill and perfect for studying or just hanging out. The staff are really nice and the coffee is always on point — latte was delicious. Highly recommend if you want good vibes and good coffee!
