Service is fabulous, view is great, and they do a nice presentable. However, they are big fans of raw onions (it isn't mentioned as an ingredient on the menu) and steaming. If that's your thing- then you'll likely enjoy this restaurant more than I did. I like my onions sautéed and prefer things to be pan seared or grilled for flavor and texture. The seasonal vegetables being steamed made it feel like they were from the school cafeteria- all the flavors bland and the texture of something too hard and others mushy. The potatoes were sculpted beautifully, but mine were cold and lacking flavor. I had the halibut and it was only slightly overcooked- which a bit rubbery is preferable to undercooked! So everything was okay- but nothing was great- other than the service. The service was lovely,

This is the best food in Hood River (or The Dalles). We have been there many times and it always delivers, the staff are nice too and there's a lovely deck in summer. We were just there (Feb, 2026) and once again it was stellar. I had the "Sesame crusted sushi tune" (photo), it is beyond delicious and so much tuna! My wife had the "Organic curry chicken salad", she's still talking about it. I think the price are good for what you get. There's salmon burgers for $16, fish & chips for $19, pulled pork sandwich for $17. My wife's salad was $17 and my tuna dinner is at the top end at $31. We also had 2 glasses of wine for a total of $64. Oh, I forgot that I also added a beer 🍺

This was a divine dining experience following our apple tasting date. WOW! Delicious food and excellent friendly staff. I danced as I ate my mushroom ravioli with parmasean sauce. 🤌We got dessert to go and, OH MY! The raspberry creme brulee was out of this world. Highly recommend stopping here! My husband and 3 other people around us got the Cajun seafood pasta. All seemed pleased. This is a great spot for a date night. They have indoor and outdoor seating with heaters AND blankets available. Twinkle lights to top it all off. ✨️

Simple and excellent Fine dining we were looking for, yet simple enough to feel like at home. We simply asked to be fed, left selection up to the waiter - and he didn’t disappoint! Worth every dollar!!!

One of the best food experience in Hood River. Went with some friends, party of 6 and everybody was extremely pleased with their dish. The crab cake was really good as an appetizer, the duck was splendid. The cranberry sauce at the bottom was marvelous and it balanced the sweet potatoes to perfection! Just look at this presentation of the duck plate 😍. And the service was just as good. If was a great experience
