Customer Reviews
My home girl and I went on a Saturday around lunch time. We were the first customers to arrive. The set up/decor is cool. The food tasted decent but it is over priced. They had a lot of "deals" going on Saturday during the day but it was a lot of stipulations on what counted or didn't towards the specials. I wanted to experience the restaurant because of the soul food, but it is not worth returning to.
The atmosphere was amazing, came on a Saturday was barely anyone there, took a min for a server to come. Meals are overpriced took about 45mins to get food and heavily seasoned. Then it should be told after a certain hour, you charge for water.
The Good: The food is good. I had the chicken wings (a friend let me have some, I will get to that in the bad). The wait staff were friendly The bad: This place is not set up for large parties. The majority of the seating is booth style, not conducive to a large group. The section we had was surrounding another party. It was weird, I felt so bad for that other party as our seating was engulfing them. When this place gets busy, be prepared to wait an hour or more for food. They do not have enough staff to handle an influx of people. The only reason I was able to taste the wings was because my friend could not finish hers and let me eat a couple wings. I was waiting on my wing order for an hour. When I asked my server about the wings, she didn’t have an answer. I ended up canceling the ord
I wanted to visit this place, but the lack of upkeep made me question whether it was even open. When someone answered the phone, that alone confirmed they were open for business. I mentioned that the curb appeal made it look closed, said goodbye, and hung up. She then called me back to explain that it’s a shared space and they only pay the lease. But honestly, instead of calling me back repeatedly, that energy would be better spent contacting the people you do pay and letting them know the parking lot and street‑view appearance need attention. Explaining commercial leasing to me doesn’t change the fact that the curb appeal may hurting the business. And while the exterior may not be fully in your control, something you can control is the website. It’s still showing events from last year,
My fiancé and I went on a Sunday for the $2.99 crawfish special. When we walked in we were told to sit where we want. We sat there for like 10-15 minutes (like idiots) waiting for someone to come serve us. Mind you there were like 3 other tables so they weren’t busy. Finally, we flagged a waitress down. Once our waitress (which I do not remember her name) took our order and brought our food she did check on us frequently which we appreciated.. skip to the food. There’s an automatic 18% gratuity added. The crawfish came out fairly quick. They were what I call “Texas” good. Lots of butter, garlic and celery. Not bad for the deal price. The drinks were my favorite. Idk if the bartender was lit but both of our drinks (strawberry Hennessy and Long Island) tasted like straight LICKA! We weren’t
