302 Social Eatery and Barroom

Mixed Experience – 302 Social, Rehoboth Beach DE We tried 302 Social for drinks and appetizers, enjoying the nice outdoor dining area. We ordered the arancini and beef empanadas. Unfortunately, a long hair was found in the beef empanada. The waiter promptly replaced the dish, which we appreciated, but surprisingly the original item still appeared on our bill. Service was friendly and the atmosphere was pleasant, but this experience with the food issue and billing was disappointing. The outdoor seating is enjoyable, but I would double-check your order and the bill.

My husband originally ordered the Chicken Barrio Bowl and I went with the Chicken La Playa Bowl. The waiter later came back to let us know they only had enough rice for one bowl, so I switched my order to the Blackened Fish Tacos. After we’d all finally placed our orders, the waiter returned again to explain that there was officially no more rice at all since another table had ordered it, so my husband had to change his order as well. He went with the Tequila Lime Chicken BLT instead. He also tried to order a Guinness, but unfortunately, they didn’t have that available either. That being said, the food we did receive was delicious, the atmosphere was wonderful, and the service was excellent. Such a cute spot! Our waitress Amanda was super friendly and made sure to check up on us often. I had a JAMMIN smash burger and it was so flavorful and moist! They had really good music playing.

Stopped in last week on our vacation to Rehoboth. Wanted to try it because the summer berry salad sounded amazing. Well it sure was! We had no wait since we were okay sitting at a high top in the bar area. We had Katelynn(sp?) as our server and I’m pretty sure she was bartending as well. She was very sweet and accommodating when I asked for my watermelon crush to be made “skinny” . The crush was so refreshing! I had the summer berry salad for my entree and added the seared scallops. They were the perfect addition to the salad. Fresh, not fishy, cooked perfectly. My mom had the tequila lime chicken sandwich which I sampled and the chicken was AMAZING! First and only time we will visit. We came into watch Eagles game and bartender was nice, but that's about all I have to say that impressed me. I ordered the chicken nachos and they came out 35 mins later. After 3 tables left in the bar area. The bartender came over and said, you haven't got your nachos yet. She kept going to the kitchen a couple ppl le times probably to see what the hold up was. So even she noticed it had been a while. When they came out, there was only cheese on the top nachos and underneath, were plane chips, no cheese and dry chicken . So I paid for potato chips disguised as nachos. Not impressed with the nachos or the length it took to getting them. Next time I'm going to nalu's their nachos never disappoint and they are not dry like these.
