3rd Street Folly Beach

Great beach for beach activities. Great for long walks, swimming, shell hunting, lounging, etc! You can rent a beach chair/ Umbrella, and there are plenty of changing rooms and a bathroom available a short walk up the beach. Tons of cool shells wash ashore for your perusal! There are lifeguards on duty nearby as well. Happy swimming!

Clean and beautiful beach. Water was warm in late July. Family friendly. No strip to walk from beach to night life. Must drive to town for night much of anything.

We try to make a trip to folly every year. The kids love the ocean and looking for shells. It is a popular place in the summer. Clean as long as people clean up after themselves.

Nice wide shallow beach with decent sand and family friendly beach. Felt safe and clean. But the pipe running down the middle which I guess is for sand? The pipe is a little weird and you have to find places that have a kinda ramp built up to cross.

This is a fantastic beach with plenty of beach access & parking this time of year. Wide open spaces. It's top-notch beautiful!
