4 Rivers Smokehouse

Walked in with my family, it has been years since visiting this location. No one to greet us at the carver station. My wife ordered 1/4 W, FO, MAC, we ordered my son a kids BB slider, MAC… and I ordered a #BB BKB, and this new casserole side. The carver absolutely destroyed my brisket. I don’t even know if I got the full pound because he never weighed it.. it could have been more… could have been less… just thrown on the tray, no quarter pan…. Big ouch. It’s sad because the cook standard of the brisket was spot on.. just the way it was served was not appetizing. Outside of that the BKB, were off. Recipe could have changed.. just not 4R smokehouse.. idk how else to explain it. Manager who was walking the floor was great and did a swap for FO, which was good. Also, the casserole side was a b

4 Rivers Smokehouse is like fast-casual BBQ done right. You order at the counter, the food comes out quick, and the quality really delivers. The fried chicken wings were cooked perfectly, the brisket sandwich was soft and juicy, and the St. Louis ribs were tender with great BBQ sauce. The sides caught us by surprise in the best way. The mac and cheese, coleslaw, roasted corn, and jalapeño cornbread were all excellent. Honestly, regular cornbread would’ve been just as good too. The atmosphere is welcoming whether you dine inside or out, and the employees genuinely seemed happy to be there, which made the experience even better. Solid BBQ, great vibes, and absolutely worth coming back.

We always have a nice family experience here. The food is very flavorful and the desserts are very delicious. Lots of drawing sheets for kids. Really enjoyed speaking with Lena.

I got to have dinner here with my sister. It's the first time we've gotten out together alone in several decades. It was a nice time to see her and catch up. Her chicken wings had hot dog skin.

We got the family meal with four different meats. The smoked chicken and the brisket were definitely decent like no major complaints but I've had better at other barbecue joints. The pulled pork was really good but the star of the show were the ribs. My whole family agreed that the ribs were delicious! We got macaroni and cheese and collard greens. Also really good. And of course, we couldn't leave without ordering some dessert. We tried the chocolate chip cookie, the red velvet cake, and the gooey vanilla cake bar. I can't remember what it's called. That was definitely the best! Skip the chocolate chip cookie and go for one of the other offerings. It's definitely pricey for a barbecue/lunch place. However, I think we did good getting the family meal and it was plenty of food for us. W
