This little gem was well hidden in Clifton Forge. As a vegetarian, a new place is always a crap shoot. The Veggie Sub was amazing! Served with a crisp dill pickle and a bag of chips it was the perfect lunch. The iced tea was fresh. My husband ordered the grilled cheese sub minus the bacon. He raves about it as well. The service was efficient and the staff so friendly. I would definitely come back.

Everyone was so polite. The service is great! Remember to leave a tip if you’re dining I . They ask if you need anything and bring you boxes, bags, refills, etc. Great customer care and fresh food! Serves Coke products, too!

We were traveling through earlier today ( Tuesday December 23 at 11:52 AM) and we decided to give this place a try and we are glad we did. The people were very friendly. We had the Triple Decker and they were not slack on the meats and it came with a drink, chips a pickle and potato salad. We will be back the next time we are in the area. Had a great lunch today at 42 deli. Staff was friendly, service was quick, and lunch was delicious! I had the special Ham Delight sandwich with a side of gumbo (with the perfect amount of spice). The restaurant is clean, the food is great, and the staff is friendly, what more could anyone want?! I will be back!

In Clifton forge for a safety inspection and stumbled on to this place. Wonderful environment very clean and the staff was on point. I got the clam chowder and turkey sandwich and my husband got the pastrami sandwich, the meal is priced reasonable and considering you get a drink with it and chips makes it a good deal. We also had an amazing cheesecake with chocolate crust and chocolate cheese topping! My meal was delicious and so was my husband's. Good job and God bless you guys.
