8oz. Burger Bar

Literally the worst fajitas I have ever had in my life. I would pay to not have to ever eat them again. The “salsa” is Pace picante. I expected casino food to be better. I ordered “beef” fajitas and they brought out ground beef. Nowhere in the world are “beef” fajitas made out of ground beef. I took one bite and paid and left. The pic is how my plate looked when I left. I’d rather go to Taco Bell.

The young staff, especially the efficient young gentleman at the check-in stand and the uber friendly waiter represented 80z. Burger Bar very well. They both looked like models for Abercrombie and Fitch, yet in spite of their presence they took great care of my every dining need very quickly and efficiently. The check-in employee actually facilitated my order so timely that I was not late for a meeting with the marketing director. The uber friendly waiter was so entertaining , yet he showed humility. Please recognize these two young employees because they know how to treat your clientele and encourage repeat business.

Staying at the hotel while on a visit to my hometown of Shreveport, my husband and I thought we'd give this spot a try since everything else nearby was busy and pricey. It was the best decision we've made in a while! We both ordered burgers, and they were nicely portioned for how much they costed. Our remarkable server, Grayson, brought an unexpectedly upbeat and chipper attitude to the table. He kept us entertained and ensured our wait wasn't too long, even with the larger parties around us. I never ran out of tea or conversation here. Definitely planning on coming back if ever I have the chance (hopefully for breakfast), and requesting one of Grayson's tables!

While staying at the Horseshoe Hotel and Casino I decided to have dinner here. I ordered the Country Fried Chicken with mashed potatoes and onion rings. It was the best country fried chicken that I have ever eaten. The portion was large and it was fresh. The mashed potatoes were great as was the gravy. The food was so good that I chose to eat here the next night instead of trying one of the other restaurants. I had a brick oven pizza and it too was very good. I will eat here again.
