A La Mode Ice Cream Parlor

This is hands down my favorite ice cream spot at the beach! They have a huge variety of flavors and a ton of toppings to choose from. My family can’t get enough of the Hot Fudge Sundae. It’s amazing! Everything is homemade, which makes it all the more special. You have to try the ice cream cake, milkshakes, and ice cream sandwiches too. The staff is always super friendly, and even though there’s usually a line (because it’s that good!), it moves quickly. Totally worth the wait every time!

Long line, so be prepared. They are very organized with servers outside to take your order while you’re waiting to go inside. Once in the building, they’ll call out your name when the order is ready. They keep the line moving. The icecream is very good, and this was our last stop on the NJ Ice Cream Tour! 🎉 Accessible ♿️. Small parking lot behind the ice cream parlor, otherwise, street parking.

My favorite local ice cream spot for well over a decade now. One of the few places in OC where tourists flock to that is actually worth the hype. Everything is homemade and delicious. Nothing beats their hot fudge! They’re super organized so even if you see a crazy long line in the summer, you won’t be waiting very long. Highly recommend A La Mode if you’re looking for a treat!

I ordered this custom flavored ice cream cake for my daughter’s birthday. Words can’t even express how delicious the cake was not to mention very affordable. We will be back!

What a great place! Staff was very nice. There was plenty of in store seating. Lots of delicious flavors to choose from. I had a Brown Derby (banana split) with coffee, mint chocolate chip & vanilla ice cream. My son had an FBI (Fudge brownie ice cream sundae) with chocolate chocolate chip ice cream. The portions were generous. Worth the trip.
