The purpose of this review is not to hate or harm this restaurant in any way, shape, or form. That being said, I hope you take this review as an informative review. Atmosphere: This place is very spacious and pretty clean for the most part. They also have another inner area in the back of the restaurant, but not suitable for eating. Service: It was an acceptable service experience. Food: I ordered the $19 Chicken Ceasar Wrap and the $5 Brown Rice to go. I'm making emphasis in the price because I really expected more. The wrap was okay, nothing out of this world. The rice was definitely lacking flavor. Perhaps other items on their menu have more flavor and quality for your buck. This food will make you unhealthy overtime. The fake meat will make you sick if you consume it consistently. It tastes good yes but the sauces and ingredients they use combined with their oils are not for your body to benefit. We need vegan and healthy not vegan and sickness and road to diseas

The food is scrumptious! They also have delicious juices and desserts! Edit (a little over a year later): The food is still amazing and delicious! I was blessed with the creamiest broccoli alfredo and mac n cheese in an uber eats order by one of the owners named Craig! Thank you sooo much! I couldn't put it down until it was all gone! I love telling people about ALK because it's a vegan haven and godsent and the food is always amazing! I bring my friends here to try the food and they're always surprised that it's vegan! As a vegan, I really value and cherish my local vegan restaurants. I usually order food from here and it’s usually pretty good, but I recently ordered their Ashley’s Tuna Melt and wow, what a miss for a $13 sandwich. There was no cheese — the bread was soft and damp and sweaty and the flavor of the chickpea spread was so awful I couldn’t even finish the other half. Nothing “tuna” about it. It tasted days old. It was dry and had a weird taste/smell. The unpleasant “tuna” was also warm, which made no sense considering there was no cheese to melt. Smh. I make vegan tuna with chickpea alll the time and it isn’t hard to make it tasty, when you care about taste/flavor. Also ordered spaghetti and meatballs, also superrrr dry. The meatballs had no sauce on it making it hard to digest. NY is expens

The owner is very nice ! The lentil beans are delicious! I love their strawberry banana smoothie. If you’re looking for a healthy vegan place, give this a try you won’t regret it.
