A Taste of Heaven Rib Shack

Today I stopped by A Taste of Heaven Rib Shack. What a wonderful experience I’ve had! The food is absolutely delicious! The atmosphere is amazing. Great staff and the owner is very friendly! If you are in McDonough GA you must stop by.

TEXANs in GA - This is our spot for ribs! The food is consistently delicious - I've been a few times. The people are friendly and professional. I've been searching for true BBQ - meaning smoked for hours, not baked. You will see and smell the smokers smoking from the parking lot. The smokey flavor of the ribs dances on your taste buds with every delectable bite. The ribs have a nice smoke ring and are tender and juicy. The mac and cheese tastes like someone's southern granny made it. The collards are perfectly seasoned. The potato salad was slightly more liquid than I'm used to, but it had a nice flavor and I would order it again. This place is all hits, no misses. Definitely my new go to for BBQ.

Placed a large order that included a turkey wing plate. Everything was great except for the turkey wing plate and the overcooked mac and cheese. The mac and cheese has excellent flavor but the noodles were overcooked. For the turkey plate, I've never ordered a turkey wing plate with chunks of turkey vs. a turkey wing. The overall experience was disappointing.

This place was amazing, very cozy and welcoming. It feels like you’re dining at a family friend’s place. The inside could have been a bit cleaner but it’s definitely comfortable to eat in. The staff were friendly and warm welcoming. I chose a table then went out to my car to grab something, when I came back the food didn’t even take five minutes to arrive. They are definitely quick. The menu isn’t more than twelve options but it’s a strong pick. They do their selection well and everything is excellent! Theres plenty of seating inside and out in the back they smoke their meat fresh. The meat was juicy and tender and you could taste the smokiness upon first bite. Food was amazing! Fills you up and great prices ! Owner/workers are so friendly and inviting. We tried samples of their main meats and bought everything we tried. Will be back. Over and over.
