A & V Pizzeria

If I could give zero starts, that would still be too generous. I ordered from A&V, and on top of the food taking nearly two hours to arrive, I was given cold, soggy, and smashed food. They also forgot my soda When I called and told whoever answered the phone that my food looked like it was stepped on, I wasn't even told sorry, I got a "well we're busy". On top of the pizza being school cafeteria quality, the eggplant was tasteless, sauce had no taste, and the bread was wet and falling apart, not soggy, wet like it was submerged in water; it fell apart in my hands when I tried lifting it. Honestly the worst thing I've ever ate in my life, no exaggeration. Food so bad, it would be valid grounds for divorce if your spouse made it for you.

Stumbled upon this beauty and I am so glad that we did!!!! Apparently this patio is a new addition but it was PERFECT. Great music, and not too loud, with amazing selections for food and wine, and the service was absolutely incredible. Now that it’s not so hot outside I’m hoping to come for come cocktails at night with friends! Clearly family owned and loved restaurant!!!!

My wife and I stopped in over the weekend because we were stranded a block away on the hilly Yonkers Streets during a snowstorm. Instead of just sitting in the car to wait for things to clear we decided to grab lunch and I'm so glad we did. The pizza was delicious 😋 I had the lasagna slice and my wife had the veggie. The toppings and sauce were tasty but the crust was magic. So crisp yet light and chewy. Generous portions too especially for the price. We can't wait to return to try the restaurant.

This place has the best breads and pizzas. Run by Italians, you are sure to get authentic, delicious and absolutely juicy pizzas here. The pasta was also brilliant here. Its a cute little place with a pizzeria on one side and a small restaurant on the other. The people running it are friendly and ready to do any customisation for you. Plenty of vegetarian options were available for us. Highly recommended!

Great Mom & Pop with authentic homemade Italian dishes. The bread comes out nice & hot. I had the chicken parm over linguine....Deeeelicious 😋& a very nice portion. The fried calamari and stuffed baked clams were really yummy.
