The host is absolutely lovely. She loves explaining the history of her home and we loved listening! Bathrooms are shared but we never had any issues and they were always clean. The hidden rooms were also really fun. Great location, rooms, and host! Highly recommend

This place is run by thieves. Do not stay here. When I travel I like to stay in bed and breakfasts, they support the local economy and are typically more personable and accommodating. This place is the exception. We booked and paid in full for a room ahead of time through booking.com . Our flight got moved back to land after they “closed” at 9 pm so they wouldn’t let us check in or give us a refund of any kind. Just told us to not show up the day I was arriving, contact booking.com ( to cancel without a refund), and ghosted me for most of the day. They will send you a 2000 word “welcome message” which is actually just a rant about how poor the area around them is and to not blame them( or give a bad review) for the experience they expect you to have. Incredible restoration house. Such a fabulous change from the tourist hotels. The house attendant was extremely helpful and friendly. Breakfast was wonderful. Try to get the bay window front bedroom if you can. Just a super interesting and fun stay!

Please do not book this place. You will get cheated like me. They will advertise wrong information and when you check in they will give you hard time. Me, my wife and my son went on vacation. They ruined our vacation. They advertise one bedroom apartment with living room with sofa bed. 4 person can fit easy. That’s the reason I booked this property. First they sent me big email for condition, rules and regulations. When I arrived they saw my son with me and said he is not allowed. Only you and your wife is allowed to check in. That house owner was so rude. I never feel embarrassed in my whole life.

Very well maintained historical home! Comfortable beds, very clean (EVERYWHERE), Catherine was polite, kind, knowledgeable of the history of the property and city. I didn't have the breakfast...but wish I did. .. Thank you Catherine!
