Abe Capanna's Detroit Pan Pizza

Detroit style pizza- yes, please. The ability for everyone in your family to get exactly what they want... count me in! Love this new option in town- the service is impeccable- friendly and helpful. The pizza is great- perfectly balanced sauce, quality ingredients, and unique flavors. Best of all- rather than being stuck with having to get a large pizza- they have specials each day with pizza by the slice options! My husband ordered the option with 2 slices... and he got one of each- pepperoni and the special of the day. Win win. I also got to try their wine slushy... delicious (and dangerous!). The pizza was amazing. Group of four shared 3 of the small pizzas ... The Max, The Franklin, and Mr. White. They were all extremely good. My favorite was Mr. White. It is right next to The Taproom, which has a good selection of beers. You can eat the pizza inside next to the unique woodstove. Highly recommend; we will be back the next time we're in Bend.

First time in. The husband and I both ordered the 2 slice with a drink. We got one cheese, and one pepperoni. On the cheese, there was not much cheese and all extra drowning sauce. The pepperoni had 5 tiny little pepperonis. The crust was dry and extremely thickkkk. We were not fans, we'll not return.

This is a must for pizza in Bend, and anywhere. The pizza was amazing - authentic deep dish with layers of flavor and that thick, crispy, cheesy crust edge you hope for... and rich but not overpowering sauce. Great flavor combos and options. The guys in the truck were funny, kind, and speedy. And then you grab a beer at the hut next door and catch live sports on the projector screen indoors - awesome ambiance. Definitely will be back and would highly recommend the entire experience for date night, post-ski wind-down, sports viewing - but the pizza is the cheery on top!

As a Michigan native it is great to see some REAL Detroit style pizza here in Central Oregon! You can’t be in a rush here….the salty crispy butter crust takes time. Thick gooey dough, melty mozzarella, topping then sauce on the top 🤌 I got the Janimal which is an absolute monster of a pie! Pics will tell the rest of the story. 10/10!! Thanks guys!
