Abode Coffee

A cool cafe space inside, good coffee choices. Had a negative experience with food. We ordered avocado toast and coffee drinks for a quick breakfast bite. We both have dietary preferences, one vegetarian and one no pork or shellfish, but made the mistake of assuming avocado toast was a safe vegetarian order as it was not listed with any meat or fish. However, it did not taste like normal avocado toast, it was odd. We asked and found out they added pork lard to the aioli sauce for some reason, and pork bacon purée to the avocado. The clerk apologized but did not offer any refund or alternative. We were grossed out and threw out what we hadn’t already eaten and left. Coffee was good though! Disappointing. Lesson learned, ask if there are any additional ingredients, and confirm if vegetarian

Just had the most adorable coffee date with a friend at Abode Coffee shop off 10th street in Cookeville. It’s has that “homey” feel (see pics)! The breakfast sandwhich was possibly one of the best I’ve ever had! As we were leaving, I looked around and saw friends meeting, business women getting work done… BUT the best was a group of moms with young kids in one of the rooms all smiles/chatting and their kids doing crafts in the corner. It made my heart happy to see such a welcoming space available for all! 10/10 recommend you stop by if you want a meet up and mingle spot!

Intimate coffee shop in a great location. Really great vibe with multiple room options to enjoy a conversation. Has a 4 seater patio which will be nice when the weather warms up.

This area has been needing a place like this forever! A very chill, interesting place to hang out and send some emails. I'll bring my dog next time as they have a fenced in back yard. I had a bacon egg and cheese sandwich that was pure. Gotta be the first place in Cookeville with Benton's bacon. Great coffee, atmosphere.

Happy New year! I was searching for a new coffee place and i came across Abode Coffee hose! It’s adorable, love all the quaint rooms, the coffee and the sandwiches were delicious and it was a great start of the new year!
