Acqua al 2 - DC

Lovely restaurant, lovely meal, and excellent service. The food was beautifully prepared and of great quality. The owners were roaming and checking on guests. I’m stoked this place is back on the Hill.

Acqua al 2 is back! And what a wonderful return. Drinks are solid, service is sweet, and the atmosphere is on point. Scallop capraccio is perfect. Welcome back to the neighborhood.

I live and work on the hill and Aqua al 2 is my favorite restaurant of all time. I love this place. Thank god Ari is back, Christmas has come early this year. If you haven’t been to Aqua you need to go.

This place was aggressively mid, which is wild considering the cult-level resurrection hype. Everyone at the bar was acting like it was the second coming of carbs just because it “reopened,” as if DC doesn’t have 47 better spots within a 10-minute Uber. The whole vibe felt like a dusty 2016 meme that refuses to log off. The menus? Trying so hard to convince us that espresso martinis are groundbreaking. Babe. We’ve been there. The owner kept orbiting the room like a confused NPC, chatting up anyone who made eye contact. Meanwhile, half the crowd looked personally honored to be breathing the same air - or breathing at all.
