It was our first time here, and we came as a group of four. The first thing we noticed almost immediately was how hot it was inside, despite there being three air conditioners in the room. None of them were on, even though it was 78 degrees outside. Weird… The pizza was mediocre at best. We ordered a sausage and mushroom pizza (pretty simple). Apparently, adding mushrooms cost an extra 3$. Our friends got the Detroit pepperoni pizza, which was also just ok. Both pizzas lacked flavor. I would say the prices don't match the quality. The service was ok, nothing outstanding. We could barely even notice any af the workers since they were quiet and not very friendly/talkative. The only good thing was the drink from Parliament Brewery. I don't think we will be back.
Very authentic New York pizza. Tasted great. The slices are about 1/4 of a 16" pizza... that is to say, one giant slice is two slices for $7.50 - a great cheap lunch comparatively. Nice local craft beer selection too. At the Cotati location, I was told the Roman style is no longer available. Too bad, I wanted to try that one too. Dave Portnoy rated the pizza at the Sebastopol location 7.7 and I think that's accurate. When the word of mouth gets around, this is going to be the goto pizza in the area.
Acre Pizza was good. I'm so glad they have vegan pizza. The marinara was super salty but I'm going to try Acre again and see if that was a fluke, hopefully not. It's also very convenient to the Cotati exit, and next door to the amazing Jane Dispensary. I went back yesterday to try a different flavor vegan slice but they don't even offer vegan slices, only full $30 pizzas. I was really disappointed. I just wanted lunch for myself, not a full pizza.
My wife and I visited today, March 1st, early afternoon, we are in our late 60's, the young staff treated us so nice, and respectful. Pizza, Detroit Pineapple, and salad Kale, was absolutely delicious. Place was very clean, and organized. We will be back
If you don't know what to get, just spend the extra few $$ and get a FRESH whole pizza. Don't pick anything from the glass case. I could taste the oddness lol even though they do reheat it, you just know it's been sitting there a few hours. I will say, my mom and boyfriend shared a salad and deep dish pizza and they both enjoyed those a lot. I'm a picking eater so I just got and order of the cheese slice and the pepperoni deep dish and it came out to 18$ And a whole pizza is just 20$.. you do the math. Regardless, if you end up getting fresh pizza it's incredible. Just go with that and you'll enjoy it 100% :)
