This Latin lunch spot is one of the best eats in New York City! Hidden in an alleyway that not many people know about, they serve up big bowls of rice (yellow or white), beans (black or red) and your choice of meat or fish for $5-$7. I ordered the lamb dish and for $7, the price can't be beat! The meal is so filling and could easily be two meals. Come hungry, otherwise you'll find yourself very full like I did after finishing the meal.

This place is worth trying if you are a food lover. The line was long due to the lunch hour. Good portion of chicken, Rice, and beans. Owner is a Superstar. He asked his staffs to add some Pasta on my plate. That pasta was best. Staffs are nice. Some reviews here say staffs are rude but I can say they are not rude it's just the cultural difference. Believe me and Go try them.

Bro! This food is delicious! The whole bowl of Dominican food - chicken, beans and rice - is only $5! It’s so tiny, and a few feet up a delivery area off the street, but I’m so glad I followed the recommendation of Here Be Barr on YouTube. Incredibly flavorful! It’s cash only though, so be ready to drop a 5 on a great value for lunch!

This place offers up really good food at basically half the price of all the other places that I've been to before and the food was just as good. I recommend this place. A plate of chicken with rice and beans is only $5.

Truly a hidden gem ! This is homestyle food which I love. I had the beef stew with the rice and habichuelas sooo good. Definitely suggest you try them out if you haven't already. Its worth it and then some. The other great thing is it is very reasonably priced. The ladies that work the counter are sweethearts and worth tipping a few dollars if you can. Gracias a Rodolfo por dandonos su menú super rico !
