AD Gourmet Deli

DO NOT COME TO THIS STORE!!! I ordered a sandwich, guy came off pretty nice in the beginning. Gave me my sandwich. I took it home to eat, I find a fried roach in my sandwich. So I go back to complain, I don’t live that far, a couple of blocks down. Guy swears at me up and down, claimed I put that roach in the sandwich. Went as far as calling me racial slurs and degrading me as a woman. Really breaks my heart because I see so many nice reviews about the store. I recently moved in the neighborhood so I decided to give the store a shot. Unless you want to support such a hostile and degrading environment who serves insects in your food, I suggest you don’t come.

I live right down the block and watched this store since it first opened. The owner is incredibly sweet and you can tell he really enjoys making his customers smile. He puts thought into making his sandwiches and not just slapping something together to sell. All his inventory is fresh and his shop is clean & well maintained. My kids said “he’s a good man” and that speaks volumes haha

My favorite deli in Astoria! The owner, Adam, is a phenomenal human being. Super kind, helpful and always provides me with the best service. The sandwiches there are epic and so is the selection of snacks. Grateful to have this place next to my apartment.
