Adams County Health Department

This place used to be really hard to get an appointment at. But they got more dentists working in there. Dr. Kristina has always been amazing and the new staff members have made it easier to get an appointment. It's the only place anywhere around here to use a medical card for dental. Sometimes you have to wait awhile for an appointment but it's worth it because they really do take care of any urgent problems during your appointment.

Dr. Shaw is AMAZING. I have had many bad experiences with dentists that didn’t care about how I felt or their patients and he BY FAR is the best in Quincy. He cares about saving your teeth and your overall health, will be recommending him.

I went in on a Monday to get my Teeth looked at and found that four of them needed to be removed so they set up an appointment for the next day, I showed up and right away I was taken and within a half hour I had all four teeth pulled. I can't thank Dr. Donahue enough cause not only was he nice and talked to me through the steps but he had a since of humor and even the nurse was helpful and kind.

Terrible dental program. They do not want you to go back with your toddler (3 year old) and when they say they’ll come get you after X-rays they do not and continue on with the exam all while you are frantic and about in tears because they won’t take you back to be with your child. Also, when they call to ask to reschedule they only have one date possible for you and if you don’t take it then you have to wait 5 months for a next available appointment. They are also awful about returning phone calls and you have to call and leave multiple messages on multiple days before you will get a return phone call. Terrible service and management.

No dentist for almost 2 years. Literally cant get in and my teeth are rotting out of my skull. Only place in town that takes my insurance. When I used to get in they only had one or 2 dentists and half the time your appts got canceled. One time I waited after they took me back for almost an hour, just to say they didn’t have time for me. Why are there no dentists at the moment?? Where are us poor ppl supposed to go??
