Adam's Rib Smoke House

My son and I called ahead so we could have the Goliath burger. The name did not disappoint. In addition to friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere, the burger was amazing! The bun was delicious, the sauces that came on the burger were great, and the fries had a nice crisp and seasoning. Plus all the variety of BBQ sauces they make that you can put on everything... It was great! You could easily feed 6 people with this bohemoth of a meal and not disappoint! To give some perspective on the burger--it was served on a pizza tray.

I had a great experience at Adam’s BBQ. The veggie burger was fresh and tasty, and the service was outstanding. The girl working there was very kind and patient, and she made me feel comfortable even with my limited English. The atmosphere was nice, and the place has a great view of State Street. I’ll definitely come back.

There's good and bad things to say. Good: I love the Mac and cheese it's simple but yummy, love the hush puppies, the cornbread is good but a little dry (recommend honey/butter), brisket is good but I've had better maybe if it was sliced or chopped instead of shredded? I love the mild and Kentucky bourbon BBQ sauce yum, Now for the Bad: pricey for the quality, if it was up to par I'd say the prices were good, I was very disappointed with the pulled pork 3/10, we got the pork ribs the flavor was good but they were super dry and not very meaty I expect smoked ribs to practically fall off the bone and these weren't even close to that I had to rip and tear to get the little meat off. Overall a great lunch. Solid atmosphere and service. Lots of variety. Perhaps the best variety and quality of BBQ sauces I have ever seen. Solid sides. Decent bbq. Meat could use a little more dry rub/seasoning for my preference.

What a blessing of a find! Food is delicious and some of the best BBQ I've had in Oregon. The Cuban sandwich was full of mouth-watering meat and the Poquito Beans were amazing! Definitely will back next time we are in Salem. Also, loved the background music playing ❤️
