My company used Stacy to make our w2's and they were done wrong (left $10k income off). The service to file was $280 dollars and I paid that on March 13th to file the (wrong) w2 and healthcare form. Got a $200 return on March 28th. April 5th we got a email saying the W2's for all employees were wrong and needed refiled. Got another email Friday April 12th saying I have to pay back almost $900, this includes the return I got from the wrong filing, keep in mind the deadline was that next Monday. I was not told they payment deadline was the 15th until I came into sign. They told me the initial refund was "never my money", So now I am left to overpay for the service (my opinion) AND pay the difference for the mistake they made.
