Ahi's Asian Noodle & Rice Bar

Not going to lie, when I read "rice bar" I was like "oh this is going to be interesting!" And was excited to try it. I didn't expect a sports bar. Sports bars aren't really my thing. I ordered a teriyaki bowl, my husband ordered coconut curry chicken. The teriyaki bowl was disgusting. It tasted like charred liquid smoke. However, my husband's coconut curry chicken was delicious.

Very underwhelming, first time trying and have heard nothing but good things. Supposedly if you don’t order “Tempura” chicken their version of General Tsaos is Grilled Chicken mixed with Lo Mein. Essentially grilled chicken lo mein. Sweet and sour chicken same issue, grilled chicken. If this is an Asian bistro how would one who has never been know to order “chicken tempura”? The names of their dishes are deceiving, and not what you would expect. Unfortunately won’t be back.

Ordered General Tso's Chicken, Szechuan Chicken, and wonton soup. I've never had black wonton soup. 🤔 The first two pictures are supposed to be different dishes My wife and I laughed.

First of all… this is definitely a BAR…. We walked in with kids and were really surprised they let us in! It’s like an American sports dive bar with Asian food instead of chicken wings! The kung fu loaded fries were surprisingly tasty! Our entire group preferred meals made with fried rice… the noodles were disappointing… oh and the Pho was pretty good!! Basically the atmosphere threw us way off and the food was ok

I love coming to ahis!! I usually get the pho which is phenomenal and the curry noodles with chicken and it’s so good. I love everyone who works here they are all super sweet and love to chit chat. Maurine is amazing she’s such a sweetheart. David the owner of ahis is also so much fun.
