AJ's on the Creek and Drift Cafe

AJ’s on the Creek was great. I’d give it an 8 out of 10. The food tasted fresh and full of flavor. The scampi with seafood medley had a good amount of crab, shrimp, and mussels. The pasta was cooked well and the sauce was incredible. The salmon with teriyaki was tender and seasoned very well. Really liked it. The Alfredo wasn’t very good. It didn’t have enough sauce and the bell peppers didn’t belong. The texture was clumpy instead of smooth and creamy. The flavor was fine but nothing special. I’d give it a 6 out of 10 and would try something else next time. The marinara-based sauces were way too sweet. It was kind of off-putting. We thought about sending one back but we were too hungry. My husband and I came here for dinner and loved everything about it, from the service to the food. The grilled scallops were amazing, they just melted in our mouths. Definitely recommend!

A lovely locals restaurant with a tourist vibe. I had read previous reviews saying it was upscale and casual and that hits it pretty much spot on. Terrific food friendly service and reasonable prices. Try it and make sure you add the lobster mac and cheese and delicious crispy brussel sprouts you won't regret it 👍

DISAPPOINTED - Why does waitress, when taking order, write down your order and then serve food and screwing up both orders? She forgot the Mayo on the side and forgot the sweet potato fries, so we had to wait for Mayo and Sweet Potato Fries... before we could start to eat. Avoid the $18 Philly Cheesesteak, so sad. The Cream of Crab was creamy & delicious. Crab Cake was good but very, very small. The sweet potato fries are FANTASTIC.

Was looking forward for the oysters but was disappointed by the quality. The oysters were on the smaller side and wasn’t cleaned too well. Flavor was decent to got the oyster craving. Our waitress was extremely friendly and sweet, so this wasn’t her fault at all, but the food came out pretty slowly. The decor was nice, rustic and beachy. Overall, meh for me, but to also be fair I only really tried their oysters.
