Aki Sushi

Went here for a family weekend lunch. There is plenty of parking either on the street or in the shared lot behind the building. Service staff were attentive, friendly and professional, able to speak both English and Mandarin. The food came out quickly and was fresh and well made. Both the sushi and the cooked dishes were flavorful. Noodles were cooked perfectly. I highly recommend trying the udon and the hibachi.

My family has Been coming here for many years, and always exceptional service and food. Welcoming atmosphere, very clean. The sushi is always fresh and tastes amazing! This place is a gem. Pictured is the sushi lunch - eeel cucumber, shrimp tempura and spicy mango shrimp.

Unfortunately I was only able to take a picture of my roll, because it was a fun girl's night! We ordered the ademame, fried calamari and the tuna tartar for appetizers, everything was great but the fried calamari definitely stood out for me, crunchy, soft (not chewy) on the inside and it came with this delicious sweet and slightly spicy sauce on the side. The portions were perfect, the sushi was fresh I got the Brooklyn and the combination of flavors was awesome. For dessert they had this very tropical sorbet ball covered in white chocolate, great to just satisfy the sweet tooth and share between 4. I'll definitely be back with my hubby.

By the way this little plate cost me over $32! I've eaten at a lot of sushi places and went here as a recommendation because I'm new to the area. I would not recommend the sushi from this place as it is very subpar even inedible while being expensive for what you get. The Second picture, that piece of sushi I had to spit out. It tasted like a dirty sock. However, I do believe it was the orange fish eggs because the other pieces were fine. But yeah, I'm not that picky but I've had way better sushi. I never had to spit food out before. It was bad.

Really amazing sushi place that still has reasonable price and a amazing atmosphere. Love going to this place for sushi or special occasions.
