Akira Sushi Bistro

Love this place. We ordered the gyoza and octopus balls (ate a few before we took the picture) and they were very flavorful. We also got spicy salmon sushi and the Hawaiian roll. The sushi here is always fresh and service is phenomenal, always feel welcomed.

Wonderful sushi restaurant! Great food and atmosphere, excellent and friendly service. We got age-dashi tofu in addition to what is pictured, but it didn't last long enough for the photo😂. For dine in, you also get a small salad and miso soup, both of which are delicious. Even my picky nephew loved the salad and ordered a second one!

I’ve been going to this restaurant since I was younger with my family and we love it. My family and I have had nothing but good experiences both dining in and doing takeout. Sushi is fresh and they have so many special rolls to choose from. Some personal favorites have always been the Akira Moonlight and Sunlight rolls, tempura, and nabeyaki udon. The staff is so so friendly, service is quick, and atmosphere is warm and inviting. I would highly recommend trying this place if you haven’t!

This is the BEST sushi place I've had in Viginia, they're always so great! I have come here so many times and they have not disappointed once! The food is amazing, fresh and tasty and the staff are always so nice! 😊 I moved to Florida, but I'm in Virginia for a quick visit and I just had to come here just for a few rolls! 😋 Thank you Akira for making every meal so delicious!! ❤️

Akira has been an all time solid favorite for years. Always high quality food! The fish is fresh and they don’t use a lot of rice. The Tako Yaki was great! A must try. Great and friendly service!
