I truly never imagined we would have such an amazing experience when we decided to celebrate my friend Rosa’s birthday at Al Pan Caliente Restaurant! The atmosphere is incredibly warm and family-friendly. The service is very attentive and detailed — and keep in mind, the place was completely packed on a Tuesday at 11:30 a.m., with no tables available. That alone says a lot. Parking is easy and accessible. The food? An absolute explosion of flavors. I started with a chocolate de olla and a concha, and wow… it was unbelievably good. I also ordered the chilaquiles divorciados, and I was beyond full — in the best way possible! My friend was the one who enjoyed it the most. They surprised her with “Las Mañanitas,” a traditional ranchero hat, and dessert included. We left incredibly happy. Ho

Overall, not terrible, but I probably won’t be coming back for the following sole reason: Drinks: the coffee was just underwhelming. I got a Nutella espresso and when I got it, it was very watered down. It just tasted like dirty water, which was disappointing because it looks gorgeous and the chantilly cream was delicious. My friend got a Nutella Frappe and says that it was fine, but that it also didn’t taste like Nutella. My other friend got a Nutello Cappuccino, and agreed that it was bland coffee with no Nutella taste. As an avid coffee drinker, the main reason I wanted to come here was the coffee, so I probably won’t be back for that sole reason. Now, if you aren’t a coffee drinker and are coming solely for desserts, it’s wonderful! Desserts: the desserts were delicious! We tried th

We were a 15 party group, we were greeted with wait warnings for seating and service (not a good start/1st impression nor is it a good place for groups). We can understand that their successful marketing is taking a toll on them, but they did not have the “concha”, we were told they were in the oven and took a hour (disappointed). A cold coffee was brought to the table, seasonings not available at table. The huge hot chocolate is ok. Food is fair. The music is loud for no reason. They do sing happy bday. Place is new/clean. They really need to tackle the average food and mediocre service issues they have, if they wish to survive past the novelty of their product phase and the warmer months. At this moment I cannot recommend and I don’t foresee coming back.

First vist and probably last visit. We made our order as easy as possible to feel the place out and see if we would bring our kids there to visit. A simple Creape with Banana, Strawberry, and caramel sauce, Tacos with Salsa Verde. To drink 2 smoothies. Simple quick order. But that was the last of the problem. We had to lobby for an empty seat well with in view. We were sat down by the hostess and didn't see a waitress for 10 minutes, luckily they have a digital menu. 10 minutes later we made our order. Smoothies came out and then the Crepe. No tacos. 30 minutes went by and still no waitress, no tacos. We just as t decided to cut our losses and leave. We were meet with a myriad of excuses. But the damage was done. All be it a great idea, the management of the establishment was not up to pa
