Albright Memorial Library Building Scranton Public Library

I visited the library today and was greeted by a very polite gentleman named Charles, he was very helpful and very kind. Jason the tech gentleman who is always very helpful every Every time I need tech help , he is always there!! This one of the beautiful places in the city, the woodwork in the building alone is amazing! Charles and Jason made my day!

I am new to the area. It's easy to park at the mall and walk over. 10 minutes only. I responded to a fb wait list post for the eclipse. The office called and I was thrilled to attend. The NASA live stream was excellent and I learned a lot. The eclipse glasses were excellent and free w the sign up. It took so much dedication to make an event for all age groups. The meeting room was terrific. I even saw the eclipse after the program. Great location. Well curated collection for everyone to appreciate.

Arrived a bit before they were open and walked in. The librarians were very gracious and allowed me to come right in. They were very helpful in setting up the microfilm and giving me info that I needed. Wonderful experience!

I walk further to go to this branch. The exterior of the building caught my eye while across the street . I went in to apply for a library card and the staff was courteous and informative. Obtaining my card was easy and I am currently enjoying my first book in years. The table with the new fiction has so much variety, it was a tough choice but hey ..one book at a time for now! The grounds are so lovely I enjoy sitting on the outside bench and taking in the fresh air. It's a beautiful library and I enjoy it thus far. Oh and the hours are ample. Great reads and audioreads good selection great staff..... Oh and I won a raffle with $1 my first time in...what's not to love? Enjoy!

I love this place. Free parking after 5pm and all day Saturday and Sunday. The staff here is friendly, thoughtful, professional, and just the best. The space is cool. They have books! They have movies. And puzzles. This is fun. Parking can be tough when the college is busy, or if the Masonic Temple has an event.
