Alessandro’s Trattoria E Pizzeria 157 Terrace St. Haworth, NJ 07641 The portion size was gigantic; there will definitely will be leftovers for the next day. Mozzarella cheese was charred perfectly in the center, but the top and bottom portions were missing that char. The cutlet could have used a tad bit more of breading. As a bonus, this restaurant/pizzeria is BYOB and Haworth Wine & Spirits is conveniently next door. I'll be honest, I was worried about coming here based on some of the reviews, but.... this restaurant was AMAZING. Came here with a party of 10 and everyone loved it. Their seafood combo dish over pasta (aka Zuppa di Pesce) was great, we had a couple pizzas that were really good (chicken bacon ranch and original grandma pie), and whole bunch of other dishes that everyone loved. Oh and it's BYOB which is always great and there's a liquor/wine store next door if you forget to bring a couple bottles.

Everything we ordered was great. And the chicken cutlet pesto sandwich was amazing. Also great service and good environment. Definitely worth a long drive.

The food was phenomenal as well as the pricing. It’s a cute little italian spot but i have to say the service we received here was crazy and overall was really disappointing. My nonna received a lot of attitude from the waiter and she’s a regular! She’s been going there for 20 years! He was not very attentive at all he just seemed like he hated to be working that day. I won’t be returning solely because of the service which again is unfortunate because the food and price was phenomenal!

The food here is so delicious. They also give large portions for a decent price. I come from far away just for this place. I have ordered the fried calamari, the hot wings, French fries, penne vodka pasta with breaded chicken cutlets, the garlic bread and I can confirm everything I have tried is 10/10. So yummy! I wish they had more waiters taking orders since they get so busy it takes a while to place your order. I will still keep coming though because the food is too good!
