Alex's Seafood Restaurant & Retail Located in The New Castle Farmers Market

This place has a bbq place too where they sell raw and cooked meats. The beef ribs I bought were a rip off. They basically took all meat off the bone and stands up the ribs to only see the side as if it has meat. Practically nothing left. I have never experienced anything so crooked in my life. Beef is already so expensive and this is how the treat their customers.

The food is pretty lackluster. It takes a while even when they’re not busy and the food is not seasoned. I mean, how do you mess up fries? I’ve noticed a decline in the quality over the past year but this will be my last time.

We loved the shrimp po boys i got mine without any bread. The batter was very tasty. I would definitely go back again. It was my favorite meal of my trip

We purchased Sweet Maryland, Blue Point and PEI. Seller shorted us 2 PEIs, one dead and many small ones. Sweet Maryland oysters and some of the PEIs look and taste the same. Seems like they did not give us what we paid for. Would not come back nor recommend this place due to unethical business practices.

What a hidden gem!!! This place was amazing from the minute we walked in, to the service, the food, our waitress and the environment. It's It's casual sports bar type feel, nothing fancy but don't let it fool you. Food is delicious. Some unique items on the menu as well such as fried frog legs and gator bites (cooked fried or blackened). The loaded crab fries are delicious! The value for all this food is just outstanding. Definitely will go back. Worth the stop.
