Alive & Kicking Lobsters

Have been here three times last year, each time with different friends. I’d say it’s the best lobster places I’ve had in my 4 yrs of undergrad in Boston. Very fresh and tasty😋. When you go on weekends it could be a bit crowded but you can always find a seat. The deco has lobster net which is also very cool. Recommend parking at Wholefood market, just 5-10 min walk to here.

Probably the best seafood chowder and lobster sandwich I’ve had whilst in Boston, much better than the well known and touristy places… The staff are friendly and atmosphere felt local and no fuss. Highly recommended! Inside seating available.

A lobster spot near Harvard. We ordered the Shore Dinner (2 steamed lobsters with steamers) for about $45 for here and the lobsters are tiny. No line when we went around noon on Saturday. The lobster was decent but not outstanding compared to other Boston-area lobsters. Outdoor setup is simple—restroom/handwashing is limited and there were no lobster crackers, so it takes some effort to eat. Overall: 3.5/5.

An absolute delight. Makes me wonder why it took so long to try these meats on a sandwich bread, or why it took so long to try this. The meat is high quality and well seasoned. The soup will warm you right up. The staff was lovely and helpful. There is extremely limited parking in the lot, but plenty of street parking if you’re a Cambridge local. No bathroom but one of the cleanest portapotty I have ever been in. There is a small eating area that can get chilly. If it’s cold out bring your sweater or coat with you.

Lover sandwich is delicious, juicy tasty lobster meat on perfectly toasted bread. Also $33 is a little pricey. Lobster platter is also great. Freshly boiled seafood with butter sauce
