All Night Eggplant

Overpriced and very disappointing. Stopped in while on the area for an appointment. I ordered the “2-2-2,” two slices of “French toast”, two eggs and two link sausage and a coffee. The coffee tastes decent, about what would be expected for a diner. $15 for the “2-2-2”. The French toast appears to be made with wonder bread or similar cheap, white bread and is flavorless. The “maple syrup” is some nasty, off-brand high fructose corn syrup abomination with the label torn off, so you can’t even see what you’re getting. Eggs over easy were fine. Guessing the cook(s) lack confidence or don’t own a meat thermometer, as the two (tiny) link sausages were sliced in half lengthwise and overcooked to the point that they were difficult to slice and even harder to eat. Cannot recommend this place.

I just LOVE this place! It’s my little breakfast nook/comfort zone…the service is quick and friendly always, the food is great and it’s just your classic little diner/restaurant. 🥰

Good diner type food with a cafe setting. We ate at All Night Eggplant with a group of seniors and we're pleased with the quality of both meals. The service was friendly and efficient. It's furnished with simple tables and chairs of blonde wood that made for a relaxing space. Two things to be aware of: despite the name it closes mid-afternoon and the exterior signage is so bad we thought we were lost. It is in the back corner of the strip mall.

Very delicious food we all had Very nice service and calming atmosphere I love the waitress one of the waitresses Erin showed me her picture on her phone of St Thomas trip and she is so kind to do that and thoughtful and it made my day so much as I told her I am going to Dominican Republic travel and Erin made my day so much better I am pleased with the friendly people and food tasted out of this world and cost wise was good and affordable and I very happy with everything and so I’ll be coming back to this restaurant again with one of my friends out of town again looking forward to it again And restaurants is welcoming and clean And thank you all

If you find yourself in Dewitt, All Night Eggplant is certainly memorable. Walking in (once you find the place - the sign is easy to miss,) you are greeted by an interior that can best be described as a "charming technicolor lumberyard," with walls and fixtures made of brightly colored wood that actually work to create a neat, cozy vibe. There’s even an old-school Casio cash register upfront that hits a nice note of nostalgia for those of us who have been using up-to-date POS systems since, well, the 1990s.
