Let me start with to my server it was not you, as NONE of this was in any way your fault. She kept my drinks refilled and was super polite and respectful. I see this opinion is shared among some others in the reviews and honestly, I wish I had read them before coming here. I saw a video on Facebook as an ad for this place from a content creator and sent it to my boyfriend who lives in Elizabeth City. The food was just flat out terrible. I ordered the spinach and artichoke dip without bacon (accommodated us no problem - not the issue) and it was 90% cream cheese. It didn’t taste like spinach or artichoke. Just cream cheese. Ebony was our server and did an amazing job. The atmosphere was very cool with the train and backstory.. The food was a hit or miss: The chicken was overly dry, pineapples and beans were not enjoyed to eat m, the apples were tasteless, my meal was expensive. My husband’s meal was ok, still pricy for what he received. Salad was green, slaw was good, and fries were yummy - so that was good. Sides are better than the main course.

Trinity took care of me and my family; we had a very nice experience here and will absolutely be returning customers. You must get the honey jalapeno cornbread when you order your drinks. We also ordered calamari with our drinks. Once she brought them to us, we added fried scallop dinner w/collards and red beans and rice, cajun seafood pasta, and blackened salmon (missing toast was in my hand ☺️) with fries and green beans to our order. Everything was delicious. Go check them out; you won't be disappointed.

They are fully opened now but wanted to add my review from their tasting. ______________ The restaurant scene in Elizabeth City has been booming as of late. Lots of new dishes, location changes, and upcoming restaurants. With that, I was honored when Chef John invited us to his private tasting at Allecious Restaurant . With his many years as a Chef in a private kitchen as well as in our military, I knew I was in for a treat! We walked into a dimly lit restaurant and we were greeted by Chef John. Immediately nothing but good vibes from John. Friendly, family oriented and you can tell he takes great pride in what he is doing. Down home country cooking like mama used to fix. Breading on the fried food is light and crispy and full of flavor. Owners and staff are great....we will be back!
