Allegany County Health Department

Everything was fine with the dentist that’s a woman she was wonderful with my daughter and my daughter loved her. The 2 stars was the last appointment the male dentist the old guy a complete jerk to my daughter. He didn’t even tell her he was numbing her with the needle and kept getting really frustrated with her. Mind you she’s so scared of needles and dentists as is. He really didn’t make it better at all. He was getting mad at her because she was scared and jumped. Him and his nurse didn’t even acknowledge us when they came in kept speak to each other and barely spoke to us the entire time. If it wasn’t needed I would have left. He shouldn’t even be able to work with anyone let alone kids him or his nurse. Edit: they’ve done so much better since last time.

I have been going to the health department for many years . I personally want to thank my therapist Toni . Thank you for being brave enough to meet me at my lowest and for picking me back up. I would not be able to see ahead without you. May you get all that you're asking for in life. Sincerely Aletheia

Please hold accountable the so called medical "professionals" in Cumberland. They are absolutely toxic and out of control. Does it make people like Pain manegment Dr. Dey and staff there, staff at UPMC, feel powerful to abuse people. People like my retired, disabled, elderly mother who can't figure out what she did to be abused so significantly by people in the feild of care in cumberland. They seem to think it's a lot of fun to make her jump through an impossible amount of hoops, designed for her to fail, for a simple medication that allows her to have a more pain free quality of life, while they gaslighting her, lie to her, lie about her, make her feel less than human. The kind of treatment they are giving is making people half my mothers age, with a lot less trauma, lose their minds.

The secretary's are all nice or receptionist if u wanna call it that. Our son dri s very nice,helpful!! Qn his counselor is very nice,helpful. My dr an therapist are nice qn very helpful also. This place in general is absolutely wonderful been going here for years

No professionalism. Very overstaffed however value of patients time is non existent. I think they have forgotten that they provide a paid service. Keyword service. A few therapists need some work on their social and interpersonal skills. Talk to patients as if they are uneducated. Alot of speaking to patients in complaisant, superior attitude.
