Alma de Sedona Inn

Very secluded and quiet. Above average breakfast. We did not see manager, assistant manager or housekeeper after we checked in. This property is in need of repairs and updating. The decking on the balcony was sagging and I felt like it might break. The furniture was well used with dings and scratches. The only seating in the room was a love seat which was very dated and cushions had no support. Not worth the price. Nothing special about this property.

😊: This is a great place to stay when visiting Sedona. The rooms are large and comfortable if rather dated. The balconies have great views.. 😢: It is highly unusual not to have your room serviced during your stay. I really can’t see any excuse for no cleaning. The costs do not reflect this. Breakfast is good and homemade but there is no choice. It is also only available from 8-9.30 so if you want to go for a hike it is a fairly late start. We felt these quirks were there to help the inn rather than the guests..

This wonderful place feels very secluded in spite of being very close to the center of Sedona. The room was amazing. It was beautifully decorated, clean, comfortable bed, lavish bathroom and a balcony facing the sunrise. We saw hot air balloons every morning from this spot. The staff is very gracious and breakfasts are scrumptious! I would definitely go back!

Quiet beauty and serenity personifies the heart and "soul" of Alma de Sedona Inn. We found the Inn's location to be a perfect place situated between park and ride shuttle areas for some of the most popular hikes, and within easy driving distance to a wide variety of restaurants, and other services such as coffee shops, gas stations, and groceries stores. The breakfasts were deliciously prepared and beautifully presented, the service was spectacular and our host was very welcoming and gracious. The cookies that are available in the afternoon in the breakfast dining area are the best, too! The building layout at the Inn for the separate guest rooms also lend themselves to a quiet ambiance and enjoyment of the Inn's location away from busy streets. Our room was absolutely disgusting. What we found as we returned to the room that evening after checking in earlier...a Pervasive, Offensive Odor: The room had a strong, unpleasant smell, indicative of mold and/or mildew. Extensive Damage: Numerous unrepaired holes and mismatched paint highlighted a complete lack of maintenance. Hazardous Bathroom Conditions: The bathroom was unsanitary and potentially dangerous, with cracked grout throughout, probable black mold, and visible mold in the shower. Unsanitary Fixtures: The jetted tub had repulsive buildup, hair, and appeared uncleaned. The toilet was loose and had a deteriorated, disgusting seal. Dilapidated Furnishings: Bathroom cabinet doors were broken, the old mattress provided no support, and the screen door was damaged. Excessive Noise
