Al's Hot Chicken

Went to Al’s Hot Chicken for the first time and wow it was so delicious. I have not been able to find a good hot chicken spot in Corona, so I was really excited to try this place. The customer service was amazing. Everyone was so kind and welcoming, and since we were new customers they even offered us a mac and cheese to try. We really appreciated that thoughtful gesture. The mac and cheese was perfectly cooked with well seasoned pasta and so much flavor. The chicken was cooked perfectly, crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. It was not just spicy, it was truly flavorful. The fries were also seasoned really well and paired perfectly with the meal. Overall, such a great experience. I will definitely be coming back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for delicious hot chicke

First time here. I got the chicken and waffle sandwich and my daughter got the chicken tender sandwich combos, It was so good! The chicken is thick and juicy, fries had great seasoning, waffles were so tasty!!! I can’t say anything negative at all. Try the honey sauce it was amazing. The hot sauce was hot and delicious!! Definitely will be back! 5 star

First time visiting and we were really pleasantly surprised! The comment walking out the door was "wow that was really enjoyable." We tried their combo #1 sandwich and fries, spice level hot, their 4pc leg and thigh, coleslaw, and they threw in a jalapeno Mac n cheese and a waffle to try. Sandwich was HUGE. Had two really large tenders inside, and the level 3 spice was not too terrible, enough to make you sweat slightly but not burn unpleasantly. Crinkle fries looked dark but were crispy on the outside and potato-y on the inside and well seasoned. Spicy fried chicken leg/thigh batter was reminiscent of how a hush puppy might look - smooth and dark instead of with that panko textured crust. Not typical, but still good. First time here with my husband, went in 2hour before they closed, it wasn't busy. We ordered Waffle Sandwich with Fries along with 2 chicken tender sides. They took a little bit to make the food but it was understandable and completely worth the wait. Everything freshly cooked, food was very hot and crispy. Fries were seasoned perfectly and tenders were a good size to get full off of 2. I'd definitely recommend this place and will be coming back again.

Decided to order in from Al’s hot chicken and we got the sliders and the chicken and waffles. I can’t speak to the ambience of the restaurant because it was delivery. I also can’t speak to the servers as well. I will say the chicken was hot and delicious. The waffle was outstanding. You could taste the maple and it had pockets of pearl sugar, oh so good. The sliders tasted like they were on a brioche bun, the chicken on the sliders were delicious as well. I do wish there was a little more sauce on the sliders. My complaint about the delivery was the fries…. They tasted old and under season that was really disappointing. I think the next time I’ll go into the restaurant and get my food fresh, but I will give them another try…. you should try them too.
