Al's Pizza & Subs

Great group of guys making great pizza. I was surprised that I could still get slices at 9 o’clock at night, which was a real blessing to me. The slices are very large and very reasonably priced. Make sure you ask them to get them nice and crispy. I sat in the booth and enjoyed watching the football game. Pizza maker was a huge football fan so it was fun to talk to you about it.

Best sub bread ever. The Italian sub was amazing. Stuffed with delicious meat, very fresh veggies, and made perfectly to order. Staff is extremely friendly and nice. A few months ago we got the cheese steak boli which wasn’t my favorite, but might be other’s taste.

Al’s Pizza in Carlisle is an absolute gem! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and full of life. The staff went above and beyond with their service friendly, attentive, and quick without ever feeling rushed. The food was outstanding! Everything was fresh, flavorful, and made with care. You can tell they put real pride into what comes out of the kitchen. What made the experience even better was talking with the owner. He was genuinely incredible to chat with personable, down-to-earth, and clearly passionate about both the food and the people who come in. It’s rare to find that kind of energy and connection these days, and it truly set Al’s Pizza apart. I came to this place based off the Google reviews. Im sad to say the food was nasty. I spend almost $30 on two hot subs & a drink. The Philly meat didn't taste like anything. No seasoning nothing. Only thing i could taste was the banana peppers. Maybe it was the time I ordered or what but food quality should be consistent until closing time. Welp another night & no dinner for this trucker due to nasty food. Do better please !
