Alva's Food Truck

The Bay Area has one of the most competitive markets for Americanized Mexican food in the world. And among the many fine burrito-centric establishments I have tried in the Bay area, Alva's is one of the best. In other words, you can step up to a truck and minutes later be enjoying literally one of the best burritos in the world. Truly a silver lining of the modern world. Bonus: Quesabirria and churros on demand.

Absolutely delicious burrito. Tortilla seemed homemade. We had the Al pastor and Birria and both were delicious. Salsas were flavorful and not too spicy. The service was also wonderful, the woman we ordered from was so welcoming and friendly. Really enjoyed the whole experience ... strong 5 stars, go support this truck!

4.5 stars- as someone that grew up in San Diego, I wasn't expecting to find decent street tacos in the Peninsula, but Alva's Food Truck has been really delicious! I've only ordered their street tacos so far, but I'm really happy with the meat options (they have lengua!), garnished simply with onion, cilantro and a classic tortilla. The owner is very friendly, efficient, and I also appreciate that you can order ahead by phone or on Uber Eats. Overall, a really great neighborhood food truck, prices are reasonable, and the food hits the spot!

The food is always tasty. I think we tried this truck at a pumpkin patch and again near shell gas station and I really like the sopes! The chicken, beans, guacamole all had a really nice flavor. The food feels fresh and healthy which I really appreciate. Thank you!

Great local truck! My veggie burrito was excellent - perfect size and even came with a few chips! Fast, lovely service - would definitely order here again.
