📍 Rockwall Foodie Find ✨ Authentic Mexican Flavors with a Mexico City Twist! We had dinner at the newly opened Amaya Taqueria in Rockwall, and y’all… it’s a must-try! 👏 From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, the service was on point, and the food? Absolutely delicious. 🌮 I had the suizas enchiladas and my guy ordered the tacos de lengua—both packed with bold, authentic flavor. The chips and salsa? Fresh, crisp, and full of flavor. 😋 💵 Prices are reasonable, portions are generous, and there was a steady flow of happy diners the whole time we were there—which is always a good sign! I already spotted a few dishes I want to come back and try. Safe to say, Amaya Taqueria is officially in our Rockwall foodie rotation. ✅ Great vibe ✅ Authentic Mexico City flair

We went there for the first time because we were passing by the area and loved it. The servers are very nice and have an amazing friendly attitude. We try the torta cubana and tacos. The place is small but you can feel a very good atmosphere. We'll definitely go back to try something different.

I wanted to love this place based off the reviews and their social media posts however it was mediocre at best. Their chips and salsa were probably the best part of the trip! Way overpriced for the quality of food you get! Food came out sporadically with my fajitas coming last when 2 of the 4 people were already done eating. The beef of the fajitas was super weird texture. The service was good but food was cafeteria almost.

I have lots of favorite taco spots in the area, so it's hard to go to a new place. We'll, this was worth the shot... Tacos were great, service was great and the atmosphere set the tone... In my best terminator voice... "I'll be back"

Legit Mexican food and it was delicious. My husband is super picky with menudo and he loved it. They are not stingy with their meat either. The tacos were filled. My son got a quesadilla and it was stuffed with meat. The sopes were fresh hand made and so so good. The service was impeccable. Clean inside. Our new go to spot.
