Ambar India Restaurant

I've been dining at Ambar India since freshman year of college. That is admittedly over a decade ago 😂. In all that time, the food has been top notch and the service excellent. I have never had a complaint. I really enjoy bringing a date here in the evenings, but it is more of a third date kind of place. This is definitely the more classy Indian restaurant in the area.

We had a good experience at the Ambar India Restaurant. The food was amazing! The best Indian food that I have had in the Midwest. My group tried lamb, chicken, and shrimp dishes. The sauces were all great. The garlic naan bread was delicious. I also tried the coconut soup. The service was great! The ladies took great care of our table. They were very polite and answered all of our questions. The only complaint that I have is the restrooms need remodeled. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and will definitely go back. It was a great recommendation from my wife and son who visited a month before me.

Got here at 11:03 and service was lightning fast. Food was delicious. Highly recommend Kashmiri Naan, it was sweet and crispy

Husband and I have been looking for indian restaurant that is willing to work with my dairy sensitivity. Ambar was fabulous with this. The food was downright delicious and so fresh. I loved the Lentil soup. Will definitely be returning. Our hunt for a fantastic Indian restaurant has finally ended.

a while ago i was soo happy to treat my mother out to lunch and she has been dying to try Indian food. when we walked into the restaurant it was dark lit but it smelled very lovely at the self service table. when we took a look at the food, it reminded us of baby poop and had flies everywhere with maggots on the table. we instantly walked out of there. I hope that they have made some changes since then. At the time they were named #1 in Indian food in Cincinnati. I just cant see how that was even possible. Somebody lied about that and for them to get better business.
