Great Place to shop for any restaurant! Great Service! It’s a family affair :: Jose is the truth & the staff was great to me and my partner! We own 4 restaurants in Oakland we will use them all the time! Go see Jose & pops is a great guy! They really care about what they are doing! 5 Stars & support local restaurant businesses!

Do not bother calling them at all. They never return the calls from customers. I called them three times in May and once in April, with a question about bread ovens. I was promised that someone would call me back or text me with the options they currently have in stock, but they never did. They never respond to the voicemail messages either nor they are actually polite over the phone when you have finally reached someone. Standoffish attitude and lack of information. Take your business elsewhere, like I did.

These guys use shills to increase the price at auction. Must be what they're using to increase their ratings, too. They will tell you that they'll give you 30 days warranty from when you turn it on but it's a flat out lie. Lots of other places to use, go there.

Unpretentious outside, filled with truckloads of used restaurant kitchen equipment from POS systems to barely used stoves, ovens; from freezers to utensils, plateware and bar ware & prep stations. The pandemic has exacted a heavy toll on our local eateries, but at least the equipment is available for new startups and to the general public. We found a few tables and wouldn't you know, they had already been purchased by a new restaurant owner from Alameda. An unused flat grill, altho part of a set would have been a great purchase for us, was for another day. Jose, the Operations Mgr, was great: helpful, informative, forthcoming with tips and information gave us a good deal (and a discount!) on the pieces we selected, and even helped load our van. Certainly not Costco shopping, but still

Joe Bonilla Jr., the owner, is engaging, knowledgeable and has a warehouse packed to the gills after so many restaurants went under due to the pandemic. Lots of great stuff in here
