Amigos Food Truck

It was my first experience with the Amigos brand of American Mexican fast food. Beef Crisp and Chicken Crisp were very good. Chicken Crisp is better when paired with ranch cheesy sauce and the Beef Crispy can stand on it's own. The tots were a little too salty for me and my kids didn't like the cheesy roll-up but my kids don't like any flavor. Service was fast and the place was clean.

I used to find Amigo's/KC as average. Not worth going outta your way for but good if you were right there. But in recent years i feel they've become 1 of the best fast food restaurants in the area. Every other fast food place has declined in quality & service, on a whole, in my opinion. But Amigo's/KC has vastly improved. The bacon ranch king burger is maybe my favorite burger from a fast food joint now. Definitely best place in Auburn to get a quick burger.

Order came quickly. It was a "to go" order. They forgot two of our items. I ordered 2x extra meat on works nachos and was charged $1 extra for it, but didn't get ANY extra meat! I am normally a regular customer. However, I am going to think twice before returning.

The staff always have filthy uniforms. The floor is sticky and dirty. The beef they use tastes like it came out of a can. I gave it two stars though because the crisp chicken burritos, chicken soft tacos and mexi-fries are good.

Amigos food is always great. We stopped in here as it seemed to be the first Amigos we could find on a road trip between St. Louis, MO and Columbus, NE. The staff was great. The place was small inside, but still big enough for their needs.
