(5) Stars for the Cincinnati Library & what they have to offer, but as a person who just moved here it’s really hard to get help here vs. the main library branch. I come here on & off but sometimes the librarians are not kind, having someone intentionally ignore you when you walk up to the desk or treat you as if you don’t belong in the neighborhood isn’t really passing the full welcoming vibe check. I’ve been to many, Clifton, the new location at Mt. Washington, Coryville, Avondale, Mt. Healthy & Blue Ash, yet *this* is the only location where I have to worry about receiving the cold shoulder just for approaching for assistance. Out of all places, they should definitely know not to judge a book by its cover, especially in a library where I want to feel safe while studying too.

Nice library. I was spending a few hours between appointments, and this was close. Helpful staff, quiet (but not silent) space, good organization. Fresh newspapers, but no current book sale (my timing was bad). Recommended.

I have been going to this library since I was little and their inventory has grown so much since then. Even with several reorganizings over the years, everything is still fairly easy to find. The staff is always friendly and helpful, I'm glad to have made this library a staple in my life and I hope it will serve the community for years to come.

This library is nice in the sense that it is clean, well kept, and there is adequate seating. However, as someone who goes to this location to study it is notoriously loud. Every. Single. Time. While I appreciate that tutoring goes on here, the volume at which it is hosted in spaces designed for other people to work is less than appropriate for a library. At my last visit, I was sitting on the other side of the library while a man conducted a job interview for a plant store in the back, I could hear the entirety of the conversation with ear plugs in. When I discussed this with the desk, the librarian was unable to ask him to be more conscious of his volume, and said she could only notify a manager, who did not solve the problem.
