Andiamo Ristorante & Pizza Napoletana

Usually would give a 5 star because we’ve loved coming here the last few years but the last couple of visits the food hasn’t been as great. They must have a new chef. The penne à la vodka was historically my families favorite but recently it has been lack luster and had little to no flavor. The shrimp used to have nice seasoning but the last time I ordered it literally had no seasoning. Very sad

We had an amazing experience tonight! The food and service were excellent. Fresh ingredients and the pizza and pasta dishes were on point. Some of the best calamari I have ever had. I highly recommend.

My husband went in to pick up an order that was placed and paid for online. My husband was looked at as if he was in the wrong place and rushed out as if he didn’t belong. He wasn’t asked if he was dining in or picking up. I’m assuming because he didn’t “look” like what or who should dine there. We were looking to patronize a neighborhood business and hopefully try a good pizza. The experience was subpar and so was the pizza. I begged him to return it but as he stated we paid for an experience to share with our neighbors, family and friends. If there were negative stars I would have selected those.

I've been eating here for years and this place has the best Alfredo in Hampton Roads! The vodka sauce is always a good choice and the pizza is incredible. Slaps every time!

INSANE PRICE for what it was, I paid $95 total. We got Chicken parmigiana and Ala penne vodka. Added shrimp that cost additional $9 for 5pcs of shrimp. A side of broccoli was $8. A single 6oz cabernet was $10. We wanted to try someplace new instead of going to Vinos like we normally do, but unfortunately we won't be back. Food was average at best. Portion sizes were disappointing. When we got the bill we were literally speechless because we couldn't believe how expensive the meal was. You're talking almost $100 for two average meals at an average establishment at best. I cannot recommend avoiding this restaurant enough. What a huge waste of time and money. I have so much regret. We won't be back.
