Andy's Pizza Ballston

We love the pizza here! Pictured here is sausage and peppers. This is the only place we come to when we want pizza. I love that they offer single slices, it’s nice when I’m alone. Also surprising, their tenders and old bay seasoned fries are amazing! They’re seasoned and are fresh! The service is great, staff are always friendly. Jason helped us today, he was so nice! Lastly, if you dine in, the music is awesome! They played everything from Prince to modern day music

They offer a great variety of thin-crust pizzas that taste delicious and perfectly crispy just the way we like them! It’s a self-service setup, so you seat yourself and grab your own water and utensils. The only hiccup was when we asked the staff at the counter where to get cups (it was our first time), and he said there weren’t any. We later realized on our own that the cups were actually placed on the side, where everyone gets their water.

I came in with pretty lofty expectations and ready to nitpick, I don’t think I can think of any — lives up to the hype for sure and then some. Priced competitively with other places but exceptionally better. So far a sample size of 1 visit, but it’s a very tasty pie, pictures don’t quite do it justice. Nice crispy crust and bottom, excellent taste and texture. As a cyclist, I’d only hope that Arlington can install some bike parking nearby.

Love that Andy’s offers pizza by the slice. It was delicious and I will come back. The only thing I was disappointed by was that you can’t get any of the “specialty” pizzas by the slice as well. But nonetheless, I enjoyed my experience.

Andy's Pizza is my favorite pizza in the region. This location is the exception. Every time I have ordered the mushroom and onion pizza from this location, the onions have been far from caramelized. Honestly it's such a big let down because of how amazing that pizza is from every other location. This most recent time they were just cooked until translucent. I remember the first time I had Andy's 4 years ago I was blown away by the complexity of those caramelized onions. It was clear they had taken their time and done it right. This location as definitely taking some shortcuts if this is any indication. Also it kind of seems that someone took a slice from the pepperoni cut across. Could have been the doordash driver though. The stickers that "seal" the box peal relatively easy
