"Stopped by after the gym for some recovery food. The Seared Unagi Nigiri was excellent—perfectly caramelized. Pro tip: Ask for the sake HOT, not warm. They served it piping hot exactly how I asked, and it paired perfectly with the eel. Great service and solid quality."
I went here for the first time in over 10 years. I frequented this place in the early 2000s for lunch buffet when Linda worked here. I recognized the Sushi chef as one of the chefs who worked here back in the day. I had the buy 2 rolls and get a 3rd free lunch special. The rolls were huge, fresh and delicious. Same great service and food as I remember. It reminded me of the good ole days.
One of the best Sushi places in Folsom!! The “pink lady” and “Lion King” were spicy and Excellent!!
We have been loyal customers of this restaurant for years and have always enjoyed coming here as a family. We tip well, are respectful, and I routinely clean up after our table. especially because our daughter is 3 years old and has special needs. Tonight we came to celebrate our daughter's birthday. Shortly after being seated, the server told me I "needed to control my daughter." At first I didn't understand due to a language barrier, so I politely asked her to explain. She then told me my daughter was "out of control" and eats too messy. My daughter is a young child with special needs who gets excited when she eats sushi. She was not being disruptive. just messy, which I always take responsibility for and clean up. The comment felt judgmental, humiliating, and deeply hurtful, especially
We ordered rolls and got a deal buy three get one free. The rolls were pretty good, however not outstanding therefore I am giving it a four star, not five. The person serving us was very friendly and she was explaining us how to use wasabi, ginger and soy sauce. She also warned us that wasabi was very spicy. I was under impression she thought it was our first visit to a sushi place. LOL. My friend had an oyster shooter and she thought it was a tad strong. I thought it was not as visually pleasing as I would expected it to be. All and all it was a good experience.
